Had some time to catch up on some christmas pages.  We always have a fun time with our family and always have time with family and friends.  This year it was at our place so out came all the decorations and we set the table out in the garden.  My husband enjoys including the dog with all the activities as you can see from the photo.  Enjoy the page.

Window cards with stickers

Craft Creations Vase of Anemones

Hi Everyone,

Just loved the colours in these flowers as purple is my favourite colour to work with. The first two cards are  square cards 6 x 6, but the next two are only gift cards 3 x 3, they scanned the same size.  When I look at the paper tole sheet my challenge is to see how many cards I can make out of the one sheet, take the challenge up yourself next time when making cards from your paper tole sheet. Card Kit for April, 2013

New Tim Holts Distress Inks Pens

Hi Everyone,

I've been playing with the new Tim Holtz Distress Inks, just love them.  Above is coloured in on copic paper with outline stickers.  I used the brush tip for colouring the base.  Sometimes I have used more than one colour to give it depth.  Then I used the fine pen tip to create depth with fine lines.  These are now available in the shop or online for $5.00.  There are 36 colours and one white pens (finally a white pen).  I will make these up into cards, but I thought I would show you the raw product first.

The first image I applied the distress pens directly onto the stamp then stamped the image. The second image as there was still coloured left on the stamp and I sprayed with water and then stamped the image which gave the washed out water colour look.  You can continue stamping until there is no more colour left on the stamp.  I will also make these up into cards later.

As you can see I have used the pens in two totally different techniques.  There at still more ways I can use these pens and I will show you later.  Just ran out of time this weekend.

Outline Stickers & Copic Colouring

Hi Everyone,

This was a make and take card I created on my stamping weekend away.  I use outline shoe sticker and coloured it in with copic pens.  I started with white, black and the blue card with sticker and this is what I created.  Just love the way the shoe coloured up.  I hope you like it as well.

Valentines Day Challenge Sticker Cards

Hi Everyone,

Here are some more valentines day cards this time using stickers.  My poor heart die cuts have had a real working over this weekend.  The sticker sheet is new but the remaining matrials were made from scraps left over from previous projects. It's amazing what you can create from those bits and pieces you saved for that rainy day.  Well this was a rainy weekend where I lived and I pulled out my rainy day leftovers.  So you all give it a try and see if you can make some cards from leftovers as well.

Christmas Step Card

 Hi Everyone,
Made this step card using stickers.  I placed them on acetate, then coloured them in with Sakura glaze pens and layered them onto the steps.  This sticker set consists of fireplace, tree, santa, etc looks great all layered on card.

Christmas Snowflake Decoration

 Hi Everyone,
I love exploring by using different things and I made this snowflake tree decoration from glitter flower stickers by cutting the petals in half and gluing together I layer them onto glitter circle base and created this snowflake.  Why don't you try using something in a different way and see what you come up with.

Wedding Easel Card

Hi Everyone,

Created this beautiful card in class 2011.  Lots of details with this one.  Coloured the sticker with watercolour paper and metallic sakura pens.  Little bit of punching, cutting the door opening and another card created.  All my Tuesday class group had fun creating this one.

Fan Sticker Card

 Hi Everyone,

The colours of hot pink and turquoise worked well together with this card.  I used stickers on water colour paper and blended metallic sakura pens with water to create the watercolour look add a bit of lace and there is your card.  You can experiment with your pens also.

Made these cards using two stickers sheets the same but different colours. Each sheet creates a multitude of cards these are just some designs you can achieve. Place your stickers on acetate and cut around them and foam tape to your cards fronts.

Wine or Door Holder

Hi Everyone,

This is a great wine or door holder for christmas. It has a small boxed area in the front for your gift cards or small chocolate bars etc. You could make it for any occassion. I just love the new wide stickers lines which come in a range of christmas, flowers, swirls and lace really classy sticker lines these ones.
