Butterfiles Galore

 Hi Everyone,
When I saw these paper tole sheets I loved them on first sight.  I incorporated my love of stamping and colouring with these images.  The red butterflies I stamped first, then embossed the card and then layered the butterflies on top.  The yellow butterflies I embossed first, then coloured with sakura gel pens and then layered the butterflies on top.  I really enjoy combining many techniques together when making my cards, see how many techniques you can combine as well.

Christmas Step Card

 Hi Everyone,
Made this step card using stickers.  I placed them on acetate, then coloured them in with Sakura glaze pens and layered them onto the steps.  This sticker set consists of fireplace, tree, santa, etc looks great all layered on card.

Wedding Easel Card

Hi Everyone,

Created this beautiful card in class 2011.  Lots of details with this one.  Coloured the sticker with watercolour paper and metallic sakura pens.  Little bit of punching, cutting the door opening and another card created.  All my Tuesday class group had fun creating this one.

Summer Christmas Card

 Hi Everyone,

This sticker is just right for our Queensland weather at christmas and this christmas card is just right for where I live, not your normal christmas card.  Love the Santa face with sunglasses and christmas palm tree.

Fan Sticker Card

 Hi Everyone,

The colours of hot pink and turquoise worked well together with this card.  I used stickers on water colour paper and blended metallic sakura pens with water to create the watercolour look add a bit of lace and there is your card.  You can experiment with your pens also.

Bird Snow Cone Card

Created this card using acetate and bird stickers. I coloured them in with layers of Sakura star pens on white card. Gives you effect of watercolouring with bling.

Coloured Embossed Christmas Cards

Created these cards using the cuttlebug christmas embossing plates and coloured in with chalks and sakura star pens on the raised embossed areas. These cards are quick and easy to make by embossing, colouring and layering.

Sakura Star Pens

Hi Everyone,

These cards have been created with stickers and sakura star pens. I have coloured from the back on velumn. They give a soft and gentle colouring finish. I've also used the pens to colour the embossed areas on the card front. These star pens work one velumn and cardstock surfaces, experiment with them and see the results.
