Christmas Tree Easel Cards

Hi Everyone,

Here are some christmas cards I created last year.  I used an original sizzix die cut tree and tree template.  I love stamping so I stamped the background on the red tree and used a variety of embossing folders to create texture on the gold and silver tree.   I them created my easel card as the base.

Card with Shimmer Sheetz and Stickers

 Hi Everyone,

We are just received these shimmer sheetz in a variety of colours.  This was one of the cards we created this month in our classes this month.  I used the gold metallic with alcohol inks, then embossed through the cuttlebug machine these shimmer sheetz look fantastic when embossed.  The sticker was then coloured with copic pens and layered.

Double Embossing Background Cards

 Hi Everyone,

I recently attended a workshop with Southside Stampers and they were kind enough to ask me to do what they call a technique spot for them all (like a make and take).  These cards are the result of the technique I showed them using embossing folders and distress inks.  Everyone had fun with many various backgrounds created by all.  Look forward to showing them some new techniques next year.

Vintage Ladies Cards

Hi Everyone,

Just loved these vintage ladies paper tole paper.  They have three images on the sheet this was my favourite one.  I love using my cuttlebug and die cuts, with these ones I used the die cut shape on one card and the cut out as a frame on the other.  I hope you like them.

Vintage Santa Paper Tole Cards

 Hi Everyone,

I made these gorgeous cards using the new Reddy die cut vintage Santa images.  I was very pleased how easy they were to  make as these have lots of fine detail layers.  It makes it so much easier when they are die cut.  I hope you enjoy them as well.

Australian Native Christmas Parrots 2012

 Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all starting to create those beautiful christmas cards, only 8 and a bit weeks left to christmas. I'm always setting myself challenges to keep my creative juices going.  Lately I've tried to use paper tole images which are not necessarily christmas images, thus the Australian wildflowers and parrots cards I've made this last month.  Maybe you could try the same.
