Hi Everyone,
I
would like to ask you all for your support in making a small donation
to help one of my special customers in her goal to provide scrapbooking
supplies for remote communities in the Mornington Island area. Shelly
works within the communties to encourage the value of family and life
through her scrapbook pages with them.
It would be appreciated if you could donate some scrapbooking goods to help Shelly. I know we all have something
in our stash we could give her. I've already collected a box of papers
for her and any donation from you all would be much appreciated.
I
will have a washing basket at work for your donations and it would be
appreciated if you could drop them into the shop by 22nd September
2012.
I
have organized some working bee days and I will be bringing my punches,
embossing folders and die cuts along for everyone to use or you can
bring your own favourites, along with some scraps from your stash and we
will create some pieces for scrapbooking. Any help would be
appreciated. Just call the shop on 55395188 to let us know your
comming.

Hello Ladies
Quota International is a Community
Service Group and the Gold Coast Club is a member of the 30th
District.
Last year, as Governor of the
District, my project was to support the indigenous community on Mornington
Island with the assistance of the Mornington Island PCYC.
Part of the PCYC program is to run
scrapbooking classes for the women on the Island to develop and enhance their
sense of family. From donations
throughout the 30th District last year, funds have been used to
purchase scrapbooks and various other items have also been donated.
All these items are being sent up
to Mornington Island either at the end of September or in early October and
hopefully I will also be going up to help with the classes
If you have any unwanted supplies
or items that you would like to donate, please drop them in to The Stampers
Hut.
A very big thank-you to Karen for
her help with this initiative.
Regards
Shelly Brown
