Dufux Medallions Cards

I created these cards using the new dufux sheets we recently received in the shop. They are absolutely stunning. Each sheet has three paper tole images as these are one of the medallion sheets available.

Dufex Christmas Cards

Recently we stocked the dufex paper tole sheets in the shop and what wonderful cards can be created with them. All these images are from the one sheet. Each sheet contains three images all very different so you can create becautiful cards from them. Here are some samples I created for you all.

This card I used the EK success border punch and loved the effect it gave mel

Altered Book Christmas Collage Pages

This image shows you the back section of the pages. As you will see each page is different. We have used tissue and stamping to create most of the pages

This image shows you close up of the first page using christmas collage pieces. We all enjoyed creating this page together.

Next year we will be continue our altered book group with classes every first and third Saturday of the month. I've already created our pages for February you will all just have to wait and see what they are.

Altered Page Flags

This image shows you the page with the flags opened which is pulled across the page for all to see.

This is an image of the left hand side of the pages. We created this page with aluminum foil, alcohol inks and lumiere paints. The colours worked well together.

As you will see the flags are all sponged with ink pads and embossed through the cuttlebug machine and collaged with our background foil.

This page was a challenge for the group as we had to create our background paper and flags which stressed them a bit. But they finally finished their pages and all looked wonderful.

Altered Book Angel Pages

At the shop we are working through an altered book and this is the christmas angel page we created this month. I really enjoy creating these pages as it allows you to experiment with all types of techniques. Here we used tissue paper as the background and cut a pop-up angel in patterned paper and finished the page with silver coloured poinsettia flower and a wonderful poem (unknown) about angels. Every time we create a page our group says this is my favourite page. Hope you enjoy it as well.

Christmas Card

Finally have had time to make some christmas cards for my hubby work friends. This is one I created. My favourite things is this stamp at the moment and my new leaf punch and of course my polar white flower soft for snow. I'm really enjoying using them. Hope you enjoy this one also.

Magnolia Christmas Stamps

With christmas coming we have been making christmas cards in class these last two months. Here is another sample of a card we have made this month at the shop. This is the new Nook&pantry paper range from Basic Grey. Another great combo for christmas. This side flaps fold back and overlap with each other to create a free standing card with triangle side flaps.

Hey Gorgeous

My grandaughter loves having her photo taken with her mummy and friends. Her face is painted with gorgeous flowers which worked well with these papers. Thanks for passing by and looking at my work.

Shaker Flap Card

We created this card last month in class and when you pull the bottom flap the top section opens up to reveal a special christmas message. The front of the card was created by sticker, acetate and foam for our front shaker flap. We use white flocking for snow in our shaker sectin. We use the beautiful Allison Ellis Design christmas purple glitter papers.

Napkin Cards

Last month with my stamping friends we played with napkins and pva glue and these are the result. We always have such fun experimenting with different techniques each month. Next month we have decided to go to lunch for christmas. We are all looking forward to a relaxed day together.

Tri Fold Flap Card

We created this card for our class this week. I used the new basic grey papers. As usual their beautiful papers blended extremely well together to create a tri fold flap card.

Paper Tole Robin with Flower Soft

Got some new christmas paper tole sheets in recently and took one look at this one and just had to use my new polar white flower soft on it. I just loved the result and it looks likes real snow on the card.
